Risk Assessment Tools of Higher Value for Effective Implementation

Stavros Papagiannopoulos, CEO,  EXL Consulting, delivered the opening address on the subject of Supply Chain Risk Management, at the October 23, 2014 Congress on Supply Chain Trends: “Supply Chain: 10 Years Ahead”, organized by the Supply Chain Institute of Southeastern & Central Europe, in Athens Greece.

Stavros’s presentation was aimed at shedding new light on supply chain disruption risks and their identification, prevention, mitigation and transfer.

An inventory of Risk Management / Risk Assessment methods – tools of higher value; Risk Mapping, Business Continuity Planning, Safety & Loss Prevention Audits, Insurance Gap Analysis, were also presented and explained for effective implementation.

Following the round-up of the first session of the day he participated in a panel discussion, answering pointed and probing questions from an audience with keen interest in cost effective risk management solutions.
